Found this picture while going through some photos from a couple years ago. This was Rachel's first trip to the eye doctor to get glasses in Japan. She is accompanied by our friend Marianne. She and Marianne were asked to wait in the lobby for a while and try out these 'Trekky friendly' lenses. Luckily, she decided to go with some glasses a little less...well, you can use your own adjective.
"Rusty and Rachel" consist of a guy from Tennessee and a girl from Indiana who met at college and got hitched. We are now living in an 'ultra modern' cinder block paradise in East Memphis. Rusty reads books with big words most of the day. Rachel (a.k.a. 'money bags') brings home the $ and makes plans for our early retirement after which we'll spend our days living on an island in Southeast Asia drinking cold tropical beverages.
